Portsmouth Museum Members

The Virginia Zoo and Portsmouth Museums are swapping members for the month of May.

How to Visit the Zoo:

  • Members of the Portsmouth Museums will also enjoy free admission when they visit the Zoo, and 10% discounts in the gift shop and food service locations. Not valid for special events and education programs.
  • For memberships that permit more than 8 visitors, you can receive up to 8 admission tickets at no cost.
  • Portsmouth Museum members must reserve timed tickets before they arrive at the Zoo and will need to show:
    • Personal identification and
    • Current Portsmouth Museum Membership card or email confirmation of membership.
  • Portsmouth Museum members who join the Virginia Zoo during the month of May can take advantage of two extra months – free – on a Virginia Zoo membership.

Portsmouth Museum Member Admission Tickets

This is a general admission ticket and valid only for chosen day.  Everyone 2 and older must have a ticket before they arrive at the Zoo.

Please bring your valid Portsmouth Museums Member Card with you upon arrival. If proof of discount qualification is not provided, you will be charged the cost to upgrade to a Full Price General Admission ticket.
