Conservation Story - World of Reptiles

Conservation is critical to our mission here at the Virginia Zoo, in our own backyards, and around the world. On this tour, learn more about the challenges facing wildlife and how everyone can do their part to help.
Tours starting at 9am meet outside the Zoo's front gate by the elephant statue, those starting at 2pm meet inside at the kugel ball in the Plaza. Tours last approximately 90 minutes. There is no age restriction; under 2 are free. All tours include park admission. You may enter the park at any time prior to your tour on the scheduled date. Space is limited (8 maximum). Closed-toe shoes are required as are face masks for all those over 2 years of age.
Conservation Story tours typically take place in the World of Reptiles buildings. However, some areas may be closed or the tour route may be changed due to sensitive animal restrictions.
